“World’s best restaurant” Eleven Madison Park reopens in October
The beloved New York restaurant has announced that it will be back for business later this year after long-overdue renovations.
New York’s Eleven Madison Park is the proud owner of several accolades, such as an impressive record of all three Michelin stars and, more recently, the top spot in list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017. Unsurprisingly, the restaurant has since earned a reputation that is tough to maintain, so it makes sense that it closed it doors at the height of the recent tourist season for a much-needed upgrade. It will finally be making its comeback on October 8, and guests can expect a few changes in the place.
While the renovations have left the dining space untouched, the restaurant’s kitchen and bar have gotten a total makeover. This is in line with Eleven Madison Park’s aims to transform its bar into a local watering hole, as well as to attract a more steady stream of customers in general. With this in mind, the bar has been redesigned into a roomier, more inviting space that boasts more lounge tables.
The restaurant still follows its original concept and offers its 8 to 10-course tasting menu all the same. The bar tasting menu, on the other hand, now comprises five courses at $155. For those who are eager to get a taste of the new Eleven Madison Park experience, the restaurant has started taking reservations here.
