Swedish wine tasters crowned champion in the fifth edition of the international wine contest

Wine tasters from Sweden has won the fifth edition of the international blind tasting contest held in Burgundy, which is one of France’s famous Cote d’Or wine-growing region.

This year, 24 teams from all over the world took part in the competition to blind taste six types of red and six white wines. The goal of the participants was to classify each wine by country of origin, grape varieties, appellations and vintages.

Last year’s top contenders for the fourth edition of blind tasting contest were China and France. The Chinese hit the world of wine with a “thunderbolt, came in ninth, commented the organisers. And the French team who came in second, finished 11th.
