Bang & Olufsen have unveiled the Beolit 12 Airplay portable speaker, the first in a new range of products B&O are calling Beo Play.
It follows in the success of the BeoSound 8 system that offered docking for iPads, iPods, and iPhones along with premium sound, craftsmanship, and portability.
The Beolit 12 features a very compact form, designed by designer Cecilie Manz. It comes in three different colors with an eight hour battery life.
The system supports Apple’s AirPlay technology, allowing users to wirelessly stream their iTunes music collections from their iPod, iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC.
The Beolit 12 will be available January 2012 in dark gray for $799 at Bang & Olufsen showrooms, Bang & Olufsen Online Store and Apple Stores.
Additional colors will include yellow, blue, and light gray, and those will arrive in showrooms for Spring 2012.
