MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA has worked with luxe wallpaper company Omexco on a new line of home decoration.

Founded in 1976, Belgian wallpaper company Omexco print using solar energy, recycling their waste and using materials made from recycled fibers.

That’s one of the reasons it was picked by Maison Martin Margiela for a new wallpaper collection featuring five new styles: ‘La paésine’, ‘La mosaïque’, ‘Le rideau’, ‘Le point de croix’, and ‘L’optique’.

Blending “humor with elegance, avant-garde ideals with classic tastes,” the collection will be introduced at Salone del Mobile in Milan in early April and at the Asian edition of the Maison&Objet show in March.

From the end of April the line will be available for purchase in around 3000 stores around the world, with prices ranging from €50 per meter for the Mosaïque, Rideau, Point de croix and Optique and up to €800 for each 1.9 x 3 meter panel of the Paésine design.

Last week, Raf Simons announced a fabric collaboration with Danish furnishing textiles specialist Kvadrat.
