Four Seasons has launched a luxury vacation rental site that offers private villas, residences and holiday homes in response to the growing popularity of Airbnb, FlipKey, VRBO and other short term rental booking sites.

The new vacation rental portal includes upscale properties, urban residences, and resort villas around the world with fully equipped kitchens, and large indoor and outdoor spaces. Currently, the site has 13 properties in the Americas and the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

With each reservation, guests can also book a private chef or chauffeur, and request services such as a fully stocked fridge, housekeeping, fitness facilities, and a childproofed home before arrival.

“We’re seeing a steady increase in multi-generational and small group travel, guests who want to get away with children, grandparents or groups of friends to celebrate holidays or mark special moments.”

“And these guests are looking at residential options,” said Jose Soriano, VP, Worldwide Residential Operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
