The glass slippers designed by Christian Louboutin in honor of Disney’s Cinderella Diamond Edition were unveiled in Paris July 4, with the limited edition red-soled heels adorned in lace, sparkling butterflies and Swarovski crystals.

The footwear designer was invited by Disney to re-imagine the fairytale character’s famous shoes to mark the release of Cinderella Blu-ray Diamond Edition this fall.

“I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world,” said the designer.

Meanwhile, this November prestigious Harrods will unveil its Christmas windows showcasing couture incarnations of classic Disney Princess dresses by top designers including Valentino, Elie Saab, Versace and Oscar de la Renta.
