Rita Ora designing for Adidas
British chanteuse Rita Ora isn’t just a fan of Adidas sportswear, she is designing a collection for the iconic sportswear brand.
Following hot on the heels of Pharrell Williams’ collection with Adidas Originals and the announcement that London-based designer Mary Katrantzou would be designing a womenswear line for the brand, comes the news that Rita Ora will release a 3-season-long collaboration for Adidas.
“I’m a massive fan of the brand,” she told WWD. “I grew up working at a sneaker store when I was 16 and am a huge sneakerhead. It’s so cool that I’m able to do this with a brand that I sold when I was younger.”
The line will be made up of five different capsule collections named “Black”, “Pastel”, “Colorblock”, “Spray” and “Roses”.
They are set to roll out from August to November with a mix of footwear, ready-to-wear and accessories. Prices will range from $30 beanie hats up to $500 for the leather varsity jacket.
