Cathay Pacific “Noodles of Asia” Contest

To celebrate National Noodle Month, Cathay Pacific is inviting fans to submit a noodle dish that will be featured on their in-flight menu.

Have a favorite noodle dish you think is worthy of being served to thousands of airline passengers on one of Asiaā€™s largest carriers? To celebrate National Noodle Month, Cathay Pacific is inviting fans to submit a noodle dish that will be featured on their in-flight menu.

Until April 19, fans can submit their noodle recipe onĀ Cathayā€™s Facebook page. Dishes will be judged by Canadian food and travel bloggerĀ Mijune ParkĀ ; celebrity Chinese chefĀ Martin YanĀ of San Francisco restaurant M.Y. China; and chef Sang Yoon of gastropub brand Fatherā€™s Office in California.

The winning noodle dish will be served to Cathay passengers traveling between North America and Hong Kong. The winner will also receive two round-trip Premium Economy tickets from one of their six gateways ā€“ Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver ā€“ to Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board will also give the winner a special bespoke tour of the city.Ā Dishes will be judged on presentation, appeal, taste, ease of transportation and practicality as an in-flight entrĆ©e.
