Tonight, Sotheby’s, in conjunction with Bombay Sapphire will hold a charity auction to raise funds for cancer research, at the Palazzo Colonna in Rome.
Sotheby’s and Bombay Sapphire’s charity auction will feature 19 exclusive martini glasses, created by the world’s most innovative designers.
The main attraction of the auction is the tall “Chalice†cocktail glass studded with 226 blue sapphires created by renowned Australian designer Peter Crisp.
It is an art piece which is an amazing fusion of glass, sapphire stones, mounted in gold and platinum and its approximate value is $25,000.
The collection will also feature other awesome exquisite glassware of designers Tom Dixon, Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders, Eva Zeisel, Dakota Michael Graves and others.
