For the 13th year, Warren Buffett, legendary investor and philanthropist, will host his charity power lunch to benefit San Francisco’s GLIDE.

The annual power lunch has raised over $11.5 million for GLIDE’s programs which directly help San Francisco’s neediest residents.  Last year’s winning bid on eBay set a world-record at $2,626,411.

Bidding for this year’s auction opens Sunday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. PDT, and will close on Friday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. PDT.

The winning bidder will have the opportunity to invite up to seven friends to join him or her and Mr. Buffett for lunch at Smith & Wollensky in New York City.
