On the occasion of the Cannes International Film Festival, Louis Vuitton has opened a pop-up store on the Croisette.
Next to its existing Cannes store, the temporary shop focuses on what the town is famous for: incredible films and elegant eveningwear.
āThe Maison celebrates its attachment to the city of Cannes by unveiling an exceptional custom tailored store in homage to the world of cinema.ā
The store’s long central passageway evokes a pier, whilst screens embedded in the walls broadcast scenes which conjure a French-Riviera-meets-Twenties-Shanghai feel.
The collection itself is displayed within three distinct sections : Cocktail Party by the Pool, Iconic Evening and Evening Grand Soir.
Following through the promenade, a garden courtyard can be seen at the far end.
“Our new Cannes pop-up store, embedded in the Festival and CĆ“te d’Azur ambience, brings an alternative and exceptional offer to our clients visiting Cannes during the Festival as well as during the summer,” Yves Carcelle – president, chairman and ceo of Louis Vuitton – said.
