Bid now through November 26 in an online auction of customized unique haute couture looks styled by Alber Elbaz from the Lanvin for H&M collection.
The 19 women’s looks were revealed on November 18 at a fashion show at The Pierre Hotel in New York.
Elbaz’ one-off creations were strutted on the runway by models Asia Chow, Pixie Geldof, Dree Hemingway, Olga and Vogue Nippon editor Anna Dello Russo.
Looks shown at the fashion show, along with five original signed sketches, went up for auction immediately after the event on the dedicated website.
There are no geographical restrictions for the online auction but bidders must have a Facebook account. Participants must be 18 or older.
Elbaz crafted his Lanvin for H&M Haute Couture collection expressively to benefit the H&M UNICEF ‘All for Children’ charity, which seeks to protect the rights of children in cotton producing areas in southern India.
Given its bespoke nature, the items being auctioned are only available in one size per look. Most of the dresses come in a Eur 36 / US 6.
The Lanvin for H&M women’s collection was designed by Elbaz while the men’s capsule collection was created by Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver.
There are about 30 pieces and 15 accessories for women and 25 pieces and 10 accessories for men.
