The Italian designer’s Frames of Life Cinema competition allows you to watch and judge a selection of short films commissioned by Armani from young cinematic talent around the world.
Giorgio Armani has teamed up with six of the world’s top film schools to create a new series of shorts which were unveiled at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
“TIFF and Toronto are both world class,” said Armani. “Bringing young formative cinema talent to Toronto is in perfect focus for me.”
Here’s the list of the cinematic short-cuts which all take a youthful, beautiful look at the 6 cities seen through the lens of the brand’s eyewear:
New York – “Ella,” directed by Jose Avila del Pino & Kirsten Tan of the Tisch School of the Arts
Paris – “Raphaël & Léonie,” directed by Ferdinand Canaud of ESRA
Hong Kong – “Go,” directed by Ming Yan Lai of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
London – “Juliet,” directed by Rose Glass of the National Film and Television School
Los Angeles – “Ila,” directed by John Berardo of the USC School of Cinematic Arts
Rome – “Istantanea,” directed by Boming Jiang of the National Film School of the Experimental Center of Cinematography
