Aiming Big : London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show
Combining three events into one large bonanza, this year’s luxury goods show aims to be larger than ever
Last year April saw the first ever London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show roaring to a great success with more than 120 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors. This year, the show aims to be bigger than ever, teaming up with two other events – Prestige London and the London On-Water Yacht & Boat Show – for a super bonanza of luxury events covering everything from yachts to supercars; from interior design to fashion. We are also happy to announce that we are media partners this year.
The two Prestige events will be held at Old Billingsgate from 4-6 May 2016, while the On-Water show will be held close by at St. Katharine Docks from 4-7 May 2016.
London is an especially important market for the landscape of companies specializing in luxury out there by virtue of the fact that it has twice as many billionaires and millionaires than any other city in the world. Among some of the top yacht builders present will be Sunrise Yachts, Princess, Sunseeker London and Azimut Benetti. Car manufacturers present include the likes of McLaren, Noble, Tesla, Mansory, and for the first time Ferrari and Lamborghini. On the interior design front, visitors will be able to view collector’s items from event sponsors Ulysse Nardin and Senturion.
Big names aside, the whole event also has a host of facilities separate from just viewing the exhibits. Champagne, seafood, and sushi bars allow for a bit of a celebratory environment in between meeting clients, friends, or just simply eating out. A sponsor lounge, and other private meeting and function rooms, allow for easier networking opportunities. The Superyacht Group will also hold a summit focused on the themes of luxury asset acquisition based around land, sea, and air – educating the audience on various facets and pitfalls of the luxury industry.
With all that set up, a lot of excitement will be coming to London this May. You can purchase tickets or get more details for the show at their website.
