Gucci and Bianchi have unveiled the exclusive Bianchi by Gucci bicycles designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini.
This new collaboration joins two uniquely Italian traditions of design and craftsmanship, from leaders in their respective industries.
The Bianchi by Gucci is available in two models, both with Gucci’s signature green-red-green web stripe.
The matte black 11-speed carbon bike is for urban/off-road use and has a carbon fork and hydraulic disc brakes. Tt’s listed on Gucci’s US website at $14,000.
The white single-speed city model is made from hydroformed steel and is listed at a comparitively modest $6,200.
The bikes will be available to buy at select Gucci outlets around the world, including London, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Milan.
They will also be showcased in Stockholm at Bianchi’s Café & Cycles, a concept store created by Bianchi’s owner and president Salvatore Grimaldi.
