Mushroom, Ligne Roset
Unveiled at Maison&Objet and IMM Cologne in January, this rocking lamp was designed by Nick Rennie for contemporary French design brand Ligne Roset. The light is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and rocks gently from side to side before coming to rest in a standing position.
Sloo, Karim Rashid Vondom
Design magnate Karim Rashid has collaborated with luxury outdoor specialists Vondom on Sloo, a vibrant range of molded plastic chairs. Made from polyethylene resin, the chairs feature a contemporary clean-cut form, are weather-resistant and available in a variety of colors and finishes.
Kettal Village
Jasper Morrison’s lightweight aluminum Dining Armchair comes in neutral colorways, meaning it will blend in easily with its surroundings. The designer’s Kettal Village collection also includes a range of contemporary outdoor dining tables.
Havana, Foscarini
Foscarini’s outdoor Havana collection features elegant chrysalis-shaped lamps made from a single rotational piece polyethylene. Each piece is up to 145.5 inches (3.69 meters) tall.
Swingrest, Dedon
Unveiled in 2013, Daniel Pouzet’s Swingrest for German design brand Dedon is fast becoming an outdoor classic. Borrowing form and structure from its predecessor ‘Nestrest’, this hanging lounger can be placed on the terrace, the veranda, or even over water.
