Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay 2020 Oscars winner, Bong Joon Ho.

Oscar winner or not, everyone went home a champion at this year’s Academy Awards, thanks to Distinctive Assets’ munificent $225,000 gift bags. Presented to each and every nominee in the Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress categories, the opulent goodie bags did not disappoint.

Worth $77,000 more than the year before, the gift bags included a $78,000 luxury cruise through Antarctica, courtesy of the World’s First 6-Star Discovery Yacht by Scenic Eclipse. Accommodating up to 228 passengers at a time, the Scenic Eclipse boasts world-class facilities and amenities such as a helicopter and six passenger submarines, plus adventurous experiences previously inaccessible.

If being in the Hollywood film industry wasn’t daunting enough, aging in the public eye could be worse. In collaboration with Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich, each Academy Award nominee carried home an entitlement of over $25,000 worth of cosmetic treatments, plus a $9,000 one week stay at the Golden Door Spa in California – where guests have free reign to explore the 2000-square-foot equipment gym, Watsu water therapy pool, group exercise studios, and receive daily in-room massages, five skincare or body treatments, plus manicures and pedicures.

Building unto the idea of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, nominees were treated to a five-night stay at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel in Hawaii, a two-night stay at the Esperanza Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico and an eight-guest stay at La Canaria’s  most romantic lighthouse in Spain. Known as the Faro Punta Cumplida, this lighthouse is revered as the nation’s oldest yet extensively refurbished accommodation, rich with a heritage of being one of the island’s four main lighthouses.

Other equally, if not more, impressive goodies included a 24K gold Royal Charka Bath Bomb courtesy of the luxurious and unapologetically ‘extra’ Hotsy Totsy Haus, an 18K gold necklace by Blush & Whimsy, a $20,000 one-year membership with Drawing Down the Moon Matchmaking, and last but certainly not least, a 24K gold vape pen from Hollowtips.

Distinctive Assets’ 2020 gift bags are not only lavish but the redemption of each treat is completely free, minus each recipients’ legal obligation to pay income tax for the monetary value of each gift.
