Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs and boyfriend Lorenzo Martone are said to have signed a contract to buy a $13 million townhouse designed by Robert A.M. Stern in New York’s West Village, the Real Estalker reports.
The 4,500-sq.-ft. townhouse, located on Bethune St., has private elevator serving all floors, a rear terrace, a roof terrace and all the most modern electronic conveniences.
The entire complex is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and the developers are aiming at achieving LEED Silver Certification which will make it one of the more energy friendly and politically correct condo complexes in New York City.
The Superior Ink Condominiums and Townhouses are newly constructed structures located on the site of the former Superior Ink factory that was built in 1919.
The high-priced complex’s de-luxe amenities include a private screening room, an entertainment lounge, a fitness center with a Pilates/yoga room, a children’s playroom, 24-hour valet parking, and 24-hour concierge and doorman services in the tower.
With a tower 15 stories high, and not much around to compete, Superior Ink is bound to be the local hotspot.
Seven town homes will line Bethune Street, adding single-family structures, which are becoming rare in the metropolitan area. In all, developers plan to have 69 condos and 7 town homes with studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments of up to 4,100 square feet.
