Kate Moss’ little sister Lottie poses for Calvin Klein
Kate Moss’ little sister Lottie Moss is following in her footsteps with “The Re-Issue Project” for Calvin Klein Jeans and Mytheresa.com.
Online luxury retailer MyTheresa is launching a capsule collection of classic Calvin Klein Jeans pieces with the US brand, fronted by Kate Moss’s half-sister, emerging star Lottie Moss.
“The capsule is all about a nostalgia for the 90s and that whole look feeling very right again,” explained Calvin Klein’s Kevin Carrigan, global creative director of Calvin Klein Jeans, Underwear and the brand’s platinum label.
The whole aesthetic is influenced by the Herb Ritts and Richard Avedon campaigns from the 1990s starring Brooke Shields, Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg. To cap off the retro-modern twist, Moss’s half-sister, 16-year-old Lottie Moss, was shot in the clothes by Michael Avedon, grandson of Richard.
The capsule came about thanks to a continued boom in 90s-influenced pieces hitting the runway and the stores: “In 2014 we at mytheresa.com have seen a huge resurgence in fashion towards the aesthetic which Calvin Klein Jeans pioneered,” said Justin O’Shea, Buying Director of mytheresa.com.
The eight-piece collection features boyfriend and high-waisted jeans, sweaters, t-shirts and jackets with the denim in 80s/90s stone gray and ice washes.
The capsule launches Wednesday exclusively on MyThesesa, with prices ranging from €75 for a t-shirt, up to €295 for the trucker jacket.
