WATCH: David Bowie Stars in a Film for Louis Vuitton
David Bowie is the star of a new short film called L’Invitation Au Voyage, which doubles as an advertisement for Louis Vuitton.
Legendary singer David Bowie stars in a short film titled L’Invitation au Voyage, which is part of a new ad campaign for French fashion house Louis Vuitton.
Set in Venice, the film features the famous red and white striped balloon from the earlier ‘Voyage’ advert which starred Arizona Muse, some shots of the American model herself, ornate tribal face paint, a baroque masked ball, and a few snatched glimpses of the Thin White Duke.
The clip was directed by Romain Gavras, who also recently collaborated with another luxury company, shooting the black and white Dior Homme fragrance advert starring British actor Robert Pattinson.
