BANKSY has released a new trailer for his depressing, dystopian kingdom of Dismaland, a parody of the happiest place on earth.
The video opens with a generic British family of four who set off in search of fun to the ‘bemusement park.’
But in place of fairy-tale castles and happy cartoon characters, the family is greeted with macabre, twisted dark versions of the Little Mermaid, microwaved babies, a guerilla Cookie Monster soldier, and Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage run aground.
Banksy’s pop-up exhibition in the seaside resort town of Weston-super-Mare in southwest England is open until September 27.
