Three Dimensional Story Illustration by Yuseke Oono
A clever way to illustrate scenes from stories in three dimensions
Japanese graphic designer and architect Yuseke Oono illustrates simple stories and scenes in an ingenious three dimensional book. “The initial idea of this 360 degree book is to express one scene of story in a 3 dimensional way using a whole page of a book. With this system, everyone who opens the book can enjoy it and is surprised by its dramatic transformation,” say Yuseke Oono.
The books are made of 40-panels laser cut from paper and assembled into a booklet that can be viewed page by page or fanned out as a sort of layered diorama of silhouettes.
