HOT OFF THE PRESS — Following this quarter’s theme, Art and Fashion, the second edition of ART REPUBLIK promises insight into a world bursting with glamour and creativity.

“When we say art and fashion, we are not discussing the regular subject matters associated with fashion: the latest runway trends, the hottest designers nor the best deals in town — no, instead we are scrutinizing on its intersect; where fashion meets art,” says Marc Wong, Managing Editor of ART REPUBLIK.

As such, this issue of ART REPUBLIK shines a spotlight on the two-way relationship between art and fashion with the aid of prominent personalities — the inspiring Diana Vreeland, three of the most celebrated fashion photographers alive today: Steven Meisel, Mario Testino and Nick Knight, couture collector Emily Hwang (pictured above), and more.

Aside from fashion, ART REPUBLIK issue two continues to explore the vast world of contemporary art and culture with other exciting features such as an in-depth exploration into the Indonesian art scene, previews of this quarter’s noteworthy art fairs from Singapore to New York, yet another breathtaking fashion photo spread by Olivier Henry, and interviews with notable individuals in the art world that include Ming Wong, Domingo Zapata, Michael Peppiatt, Robert Bartoux, and Wang Wei.
