Catch Some Waves With Celine’s Electric Surfboard, e-Foil
A day out at the sea is never the same again with the e-Foil.
Celine is making its foray into the world of outdoor recreation with the launch of its electric surfboard, the e-Foil. The French luxury house teamed up with pro kite surfer James McGrath to show the surfboard in action, photographed by Hedi Slimane himself.
The electric-powered surfboard is perched above a hydrofoil wing featuring a sleek black finish with Celine’s logo in white. The professional surfboarder took the maison’s surfboard out for a test ride in Nice, France in September. McGrath also very nicely sports Celine’s Aviator Sunglasses and Western Denim Shirt.
If there’s an ocean lover in your life, this luxurious surfboard will be the perfect gift for them. Celine’s new e-Foil is made-to-order and is exclusively available in France.
This launch should come as no surprise as luxury houses have been making their way into the world of electric vehicles. Another luxury brand with its own electric device is Saint Laurent. The fashion house teamed up with SUPER73 for an exclusive, limited-edition release of the SUPER73-S2 Saint Laurent Electric Bike.
The SUPER73-S2 Saint Laurent E-bike retails at US$6,500 and is currently available for purchase online on Saint Laurent’s website and in select stores.
