It has to be said: the bear market is the perfect reason for a crypto retreat. All the same, the fittingly named ‘Crypto Rendezvous’ hosted by Aditus, a luxury access platform bridging luxury merchants and crypto-affluents on a decentralised network, during Day 3 (28/7) will likely appease experiencing Blockchain separation anxieties during the four consecutive days of nautical glitz and glamour.

For just one day at the nearby Performing Arts Centre of Penang (PenangPAC), there will be talks, panel discussions and insights by Malaysia’s leading Blockchain industry leaders and cryptocurrency proponents in various fields including business solution providers, government institutions, and cryptocurrency exchanges along with investment experts and community insiders. Concerns regarding Blockchain adoption and innovation will be addressed to foster mainstream adoption in the country.

The seminar is expected to be attended by more than 100 participants and speakers such as Julian Peh, co-founder and CEO of Aditus, Chan Wei Chi, part of the founding team of SINEGY as well as representatives from fast-rising cryptocurrency exchange Coinbene will be introduced by popular radio personality Freda Liu of independent business station BFM89.9.

Freda will also be moderating a panel discussion headlined by Colbert Lau. He is the first Bitcoin professional in Malaysia as certified by the Cryptocurrency Certification Consortium (C4) and a born and bred Penangnite. Panelists include Harpreet Singh, CEO and co-founder of Blocklime and Jason Chew, founder of EMPOWER, a blockchain database that supports the generation and consumption of electricity from renewable sources with cryptocurrency rewards. Rene Bernard, CEO and co-founder of LUXTAG will also be a panelist. Other active participants will include Simon Pang and the Malaysian Steemit community.

Lavish afterparties and hosted networking sessions the marina’s promenade and luxury yacht berths after the conference will provide ample opportunities for those attending to engage with experts, innovators and investors in the burgeoning Malaysian crypto scene.
