“Things have changed,†he says. “The fear factor, the reverence and the rather staid formality have all but disappeared.
Magazines now have fashion shoots featuring cheap H&M jeans worn with £5000 diamond rings.
Having a diamond-studded accent to a watch or a piece of jewellers’ no longer marks a customer as a flashy, ostentatious type. It just makes a person look more… lively.â€
Davidoff couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate designer for this very special diamond edition that happens to be the most expensive cigarette case in the world, worth of more than €16,000 ($21,500).
The cigarette case is made of either white gold or blackened gold which has been intricately engraved on the sides in the unique shape of the Davidoff cigarette boxes.
The front features Stephen Webster’s crest encrusted with black and white diamonds whilst one can have ones diamond encrusted initials placed on the back.
Although a lot of times the trend in manufacturing the most valuable version of one kind of a product has led to true aesthetic disasters, this is not the case.
Webster’s version happens to be minimal and sleek, a sophisticated take on luxury.
