Porsche has revealed a performance version of its Panamera model at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.
The Panamera GTS, designed to propel the Panamera from the urban elite to the race track, will hit the roads early next year with a price tag of €116,716 in Europe.
Boasting a top speed of 288km/h, the new model has been overhauled to improve sporting performance, including a new adaptive air suspension system, sports tuning and a wider rear axle width to improve stability.
Inside, the Panamera GTS is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 engine, delivering 430 hp and capable of sprinting to 100km/h in under 4.5 seconds.
With more economical driving, and fitted with low-friction tires, the model can manage a fuel efficiency of 10.7l/100km, Porsche says.
The exterior has been vamped up, with black details such as exhaust pipes, headlamp bezels and large air intakes.
Inside, the model boasts the GTS leather interior, sports paddles on the stern wheel and sports seats.
Porsche debuted the model, alongside the 911 Carrera‘s North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens to the public November 18.
