The number of Aston Martin One-77 supercars in existence has now dropped from an original 77 cars to 76 following a crash that took place last week in Hong Kong.

This sole image, found on Weibo, shows that the wreckage inflicted on the supercar was quite severe, suggesting that significant speed was a factor in the crash.

The incident was the result of the driver hitting a kerb at high speed. Reports have stated there were no other cars involved in the crash and no-one was injured.

The Aston Martin One-77 was released in 2009. The whole line sold out long before production started to customers who pre-ordered their expensive toys.

The price of the vehicle varies, depending on the country it has been sold to and the extent of ā€œpersonificationā€. In China, this Aston Martin was apparently sold for 47 million Yuan ($7 million).

The Aston Martin One-77 is powered by a 7.3 liter V12 engine which is generating a total output of 750 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 200 mph.
