Montblanc has created a one-of-a-kind writing instrument for the Monaco royal wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock.
The unique Montblanc Wedding Pen is inspired by the architectural elements of the Palais Princier and the Principality Flag, embellished with the monogram of the Princely Couple and precious stones.
128 diamonds and 161 rubies that refer to the colours of the Monégasque State have been artistically rendered into the skeleton of the solid white gold fountain pen.
The hand-crafted gold nib is finely engraved with a dove, rings and a crown and thus unites the unique symbols of love and this state union.
The pen is now gifted to the couple as a “memento of a special occasion in European history, and a personal treasure for the newlyweds”.
