If you think owning the latest smartphone is enough to set you apart from the rest, meet the newest kids on the block: Cavier 1 kg pure gold iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra. There is no doubt that you will be the centre of attention if you whip out one of these Caviar smartphones on any occasions. Yes, you saw it right, these smartphones are decked out in pure gold — 24-carat or 999.9 gold. This is the first time the Russian company, which also made the limited-edition gold Airpods Max, used gold of such purity.

Shaped like a gold bar, if we aren’t informed that these were smartphones, we couldn’t tell them apart ourselves lest the emblazoned Caviar logo. Aside from the back of the smartphones where the cameras are removed, these collectibles retain their original aesthetic features. Unless you are big on taking photos, we think the phone will serve just as well.

Limited to seven pieces each, the Gold iPhone 12 Pro is priced at US$159,000 while the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is priced at US$169,000. Upon making this purchase, the phone will be packaged in a luxurious white briefcase, secured with a combination lock and delivered over to you through a private courier service.
