Italian Style as Espoused by Daniele Carettoni as He Struts the Streets of Southern Italy
From the back streets of southern Italy comes Daniele Carettoni, a fashion renegade armed with style, attitude and a comb. Featured in Yacht Style Issue 50.
Editor’s Note: Maybe feminists can blame it on the “oppressive patriarchy” but I’ve got to admit, given my penchant for suits, men really do get an easier time dressing up. Men’s style has never been easier. There are tons of fashion resources out there today, if you prefer a younger more millennial aesthetic, our sister publication Men’s Folio has great tips and awesome menswear looks.
If you’re a gentleman of the more sartorial variety, LUXUO is a great believer and supporter of men’s haberdasher Ermenegildo Zegna but I digress. Yes, men’s fashion is easier in some regards – it takes nothing more than a well cut Zegna pinstripe suit like the one worn by our fashion renegade Daniele Carettoni, there’s a good reason why Ermenegildo Zegna is the most valuable menswear brand in the world, they make it too easy to dress up across their collection of street, sartorial and casual looks.

And then there’s Brunello Cucinelli, another staple for the editorial team at LUXUO. Even dressed informally, the garments of Brunello Cucinelli still bear a regal formality. Then dressed down with nothing but an Intimissimi tank top, a man of decent enough build (start hitting the gym folks) will looking downright attractive.
Armed with nothing but a comb, an attitude, a sense of style and the sartorial essentials of menswear, Carettoni struts his stuff on the back streets of southern Italy for Yacht Style Issue 50.
