Pearl Yachts Appoints NextWave as Exclusive Dealer in Hong Kong
British brand Pearl Yachts, which builds its yachts in China before fit-out in the UK, has appointed NextWave as its Hong Kong dealer.
Pearl Yachts, which displayed its 80 and 95 models in the superyacht extension at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, has appointed NextWave Yachting as its exclusive dealer in Hong Kong. Founded in 1998, Pearl Yachts offers a range of motoryachts from 65-95ft by Dixon Yacht Design, with interiors by Kelly Hoppen.
The 80 made its debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November 2017, while the world premiere of the flagship 95 was held at last year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Iain Smallridge, Managing Director of Pearl Yachts, said: “The whole team at Pearl Yachts is excited about our new partnership with NextWave Yachting. The Asian market is a world of opportunity for yachting and particularly for high-quality superyachts such as those in our fleet.
“With this new partnership, we aim to grow and develop our presence throughout Asia. NextWave Yachting and their experienced team of yachting professionals are perfectly attuned to the Asian yachting market, and we can think of no better representative in Hong Kong for the Pearl Yachts brand.”
Pearl Yachts marks the latest brand represented by NextWave, the dealer for a range of builders including USA’s Chris-Craft, British brand Sealine, Germany’s Bavaria and Fjord, Spain’s De Antonio, Dutch yard Vanquish and Italy’s Wider, the latter building up to 165ft.
Formed in March 2012, NextWave has multiple divisions including yacht management and maintenance, brokerage, toys and NextWave Charters, whose fleet of over 50 yachts includes the British-built Sunseeker 131 Yacht, Rhine. Howard Chen, NextWave’s Sales Director, was happy to build on the British connection.
“NextWave is all about value, quality and integrity. Our dedication to fulfilling commitments and seeking the best value for our customers is the soul of our business, and that’s why we are excited to partner with Pearl Yachts,” Chen said.
“We do not just sell boats and related products. We represent passion for the ocean – and Pearl Yachts is absolutely synonymous with just that.”
