Village Marketing Offers a Luxurious Penthouse just for Instagram – Village Studio
This is New York’s most instagrammable Manhattan SoHo Penthouse but nobody lives in it for one reason.
Village Studio is a first-of-its-kind “photo studio” for influencers. In reality a luxurious penthouse which nobody lives in, Village Marketing is founded by 36 year old Vickie Segar, and she touts the Manhattan SoHo penthouse as “a canvas for influencer lifestyle shoots and artful brand installations to change the visual dialogue and create impact on social media”.

Village Marketing is an all-female creative influencer agency and as immediately evident from the all-female cast of instagram influencers, their clientele is also pretty in pink. With a preference to be called Vickie, her website claims “amplification of brands through meaningful connections” but the inherent irony is that everything in her Manhattan, New York penthouse is a facade, none of her clientele actually live there and none of the exquisite decorative elements and furnishings are actually owned by her influencer clients and so therefore, the luxury apartment doesn’t even begin to telegraph the influencer’s personality.
“We partner with brands and influencers to create custom content that stands out in a consumer’s social feed. Creative is unique, inspiring, and on-brand.” – Village Studio
According to an article by NYT (great shots too), the 2,400-square-foot Village Marketing Penthouse in Manhattan SoHo rents for $15,000 a month and is booked through the whole of October by instagram stars.
The Village Marketing penthouse also offers a well decorated rooftop deck with expansive views of the NYC skyline and the bohemian SoHo views of Manhattan to create and curate the ultimate lifestyle. According to the website, Vickie wants to help clients connect with the most influential social media personalities by “curating on-brand collaborators that deliver the best content to impact business” – while the content is nevertheless attractive, it’s unfortunate that idealised reality has been commoditised and canned in a Manhattan apartment – it would take a gifted Instagram star to take a cookie cutter NYC penthouse, however luxurious, and take a 1080px by 1080px shot while truly making it her own.
