Javier Bardem in Ermenegildo Zegna Couture for 71st Edition of the Festival de Cannes

With an ensemble designed exclusively for Bardem by Ermenegildo Zegna Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, Javier Bardem’s floral jacquard bespoke outfit augmented the actor’s irrepressible charisma and charm.

Spanish actor Javier Bardem was dressed exquisitely in Ermenegildo Zegna Couture, accompanied by his wife Penelope Cruz, for the 71st Edition of the Festival de Cannes at Palais des Festivals. Designed exclusively for Bardem by  Ermenegildo Zegna Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, Javier Bardem’s floral jacquard bespoke outfit augmented the actor’s irrepressible charisma and charm.

Bardem enjoys notable acclaim won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the psychopathic assassin Anton Chigurh in the 2007 Coen Brothers film No Country for Old Men. He has also received critical acclaim for roles in films such as Jamón, as a result, his gravitas and effortless machismo has led Ermenegildo Zegna to select him as the face for the brand’s most recent campaign alongside fellow acclaimed actor, Dev Patel.

Bardem had recently received a BAFTA and SAG nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Skyfall where the his role as villain Raoul Silva saw him dressed in Tom Ford suits. Tom Ford suits are an exclusive private label made by Ermenegildo Zegna for designer Ford. For the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, the Oscar-winning couple walked the red carpet on the opening night with the screening in competition of Asghar Farhadi’s Everybody Knows (Todos Lo Saben) movie, starring the Hollywood couple. Throughout the festivities of the 71st Edition of the Festival de Cannes, Javier Bardem will wear an exclusive wardrobe specially created for him by Sartori.

When last we saw Ermenegildo Zegna Couture Men’s Fall 2018, Sartori sought muse from Oasi Zegna, the family’s natural park in northern Italy, redefining conventional interpretations of luxury menswear. That said, Sartori’s special creation for Javier is a custom made single breasted tuxedo with contrast satin shawl collar in navy silk and wool floral jacquard, navy tuxedo trousers in pure mohair, worn with white evening shirt, complementary textile accessories and black patent leather shoes, all by Ermenegildo Zegna Couture.
