Fashion house Dolce & Gabbana is heading to the Big Apple in April to show its two couture lines, Alta Moda and Alta Sartoria.
Dolce & Gabbana Goes to New York
The Italian luxury brand, Dolce & Gabbana has selected New York to hold its next fashion show to introduce its two couture lines, Alta Moda womenswear and Alta Sartoria menswear lines. However, the location of the shoot remains undisclosed until further notice.
Browsing through the previous locations of the shoots, the fashion house seems keen on the idea of travelling the world with its couture collections.
Let’s take a walk down the memory lane and recall some of these hype and fashionable moments:
Dolce & Gabbana unveiled the new looks of the Spring/Summer 2018 collection (pictured above) in the beautiful setting of Piazza San Marco in Venice.
In Tokyo, Japan Dolce & Gabbana displayed its most prestigious lines. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana shared this: “Japan is a country full of contrasts: it is simultaneously classic, modern and contemporary. Our boutique will be luminous and graphic. Visitors will feel as if they were experiencing a sunny Sicilian day in Tokyo…”
Also, the fashion house’s new boutique in Tokyo is located on a luxurious address and situated in the shopping hub of Aoyama, which is a short distant walk from Shibuya where the most trafficked crossing in the world is located.
Inside the Aoyama boutique houses the Menswear and Womenswear Collections, clothing, accessories and small leather goods distributed on two levels.
After New York, April 6-10, 2018, the two collections will be shown at the Soumaya Museum in Mexico City, in a show scheduled for April 18.
