The style label that brought women the 10cm heel will soon also be stocking more comfortable wear, but at a price.
The Jimmy Choo sneakers have gold eyelets, exotic skins and star-print soles and will be launched in May, according to The Times.
The designer’s pre-fall 2010 collection features eight athletic-wear styles that will run about $473 for low tops, and $633 for the high-top looks.
Other shoe brands have already diversified into the trainer market, many opting for a “high-top†design, similar to a basketball shoe that comes up beyond the ankle.
