Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar details released
One step closer to a reality, the British car manufacturer has announced the name of the hypercar that was known as RB-001
Been following the launch of the supercar called Aston Martin Vallkyrie like a hawk? Well, then you will be happy to know that the British car manufacturer has moved one step closer to producing the car. While we have been teased with images and information over the last few years, this news is certainly welcome as it means that we may soon get to see the final product with our very own eyes.
Having been under the code name of RB-001, Aston Martin has revealed the car’s official name. The hypercar that will be road ready will feature all the luxuries such as headlights, taillights, seats and aerodynamic tweaks. To make it legal for the road Aston Martin has had to add a great deal of weight — which normally would have affected the performance. But this being Aston Martin, necessary changes have been made to accommodate ad resolve such performance issues.
For one, the headlights fitted on the hypercar are 30 to 40 percent lighter than those on an existing Aston Martin. While the taillights are not exceptional, the third brake light is special that it is the smallest ever made and measures less than a quarter of an inch wide and four tenths of an inch tall. Not leaving any detail to chance, the manufacturer also removed the usual company badge that sits proudly on the hood of the car.
Instead of a sticker that was deemed too heavy, Aston Martin chose to laser-etch an aluminium badge that is just 70 microns thick — thinner than a human hair. Those who wish to own one of these expertly crafted hypercars should set aside at least $3 million that should help you get your very own Aston Martin Valkyrie.
